Waendal Walking Festival - 35th International Waendal Walk

International Waendel Walk 2016

The International Waendel Walk Weekend is set to take place from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 May 2016, featuring new and improved routes with choices from 5, 10, 15, 25 and 42km for walkers of all ages and abilities. All routes travel across fields, footpaths and roads, whilst visiting places of interest and local villages in and around Wellingborough.

Why not use your opportunity to take part in the Waendel Walk and get out and explore the fantastic scenery and culture in Northamptonshire. Check out our slideshow from Waendel Walk 2015 kindly provided by Beck Photographic.

The weekend will also be hosting the Friday Friendship Walks and Parade as well as theWaendel Swim event at Waendel Leisure Centre.

The Closing Ceremony will be held on Sunday 15 May at the Castle Theatre.

Registrations for the 2016 event are now open, and can be booked online or by post or phone with our application form

The event is held at the Castle Theatre, Wellingborough and a host of free entertainmentwill be provided during the weekend.
