We have been busy since last October working on the 2016 programme and have plenty of new walks intermingled with some popular walks brought back, thanks to the feedback from our festival questionnaires. We overlooked that people sometimes had to make a hard choice and missed out on some walks.
We have taster walks for those who may want to walk a section of the new Wyche Way, or the Holst Way and then there is the popular Cotswold Way National Trail. We celebrate the 90th anniversary of Michael Cardew, the internationally famous potter, combine nostalgic steam train rides with walks through famous sites, some off the beaten track.
Accompany a butterfly expert through a butterfly reserve on a SSSI site looking for rarities or, if you are an early riser, join a dawn chorus walk to identify birdsong.
Do you fancy the challenge of navigating a 21-mile section of the Winchcombe Way and testing your stamina? Go for a walk around Winchcombe with some camera experts and learn how to take different shots or what about an introduction to geocaching and look for hidden geocaches?
We have something to cater for most tastes, so view our walking festival programme now.
